I strive to create engaging contemporary interpretations of the places or scenes I have experienced or photographed on my travels. My themes revolve around the beauty of nature, particularly seascapes and landscapes, which I explore through bold layering of colour, texture, patterns, and mark-making. Each of my paintings invites the viewer to discover new areas of interest beneath the surface layer, much like how people are made up of layers of experiences that make them unique. 

Overall, my distinct style portrays my fun-loving, playful, and adventurous nature and aims to transport the viewer to a fantasy world of beauty and wonder. My most recent work is based on the interplay between sky, sea and land focusing my attention on horizon lines. Colour, light, texture, and movement, and how mood is influenced by seasonal changes. 

My intention is to captivate, excite and inspire the viewer to want to look more closely at my paintings. While providing a safe space where one’s imagination can roam free.
