Born and brought up in East Neuk of Fife, my work is hugely influenced by my surroundings. Using mainly Acrylics and Acrylic ink and occasionally Oils, I like to create impressionist-style landsape and seascapes and depict the character of the picturesque coastal villages using pastes and collage to create texture and atmosphere.

Recently, time spent in New Zealand and the Hebrides has added a new dimension to my work. It’s all about colour.
