Ceri White produces contemporary earthenware ceramics from her studio in Perth. Art school-trained, and with much studio experience since, her work now mostly consists of individually wheel-thrown vessels decorated in a highly unique and colourful style.
Ceri is inspired not only by the minutiae of nature she loves as an adult, but the objects which fed her soul and sparked fascination as a child living in the 1970s.
There she was surrounded by contemporary and post-war home décor and domestic objects and this all informs her design aesthetic. Ceri’s aim is to create lasting, high-quality, but playful pieces which have meaning and inspire some similar fascination and joy.
