I am a Swedish glass Artist and I make hand blown luxury gifts, awards and one-off sculptures for interiors and I offer a bespoke service for private and corporate projects. You can find my bespoke work installed on cruise ships, offices, and gardens.
My forms are often simple but tactile, heavily influenced by my Scandinavian background. Designs often reveal a sense of movement, capturing the inherent energy and fluidity of working with molten glass. My colour palette is inspired by the Swedish and Scottish landscape, rocks, water and ice textures are influences in my designs. My time spent in India a few years ago, has brought splashes of bright pink and gold into my work.
I am now based in Dunblane and I have been blowing glass for 25 years. I began my training at Orrefors Glass School, situated in the ‘Kingdom of Glass’, in south of Sweden. After graduating from my MA in Design & Applied Arts at Edinburgh College of Art, I stayed on as Artist in Residence teaching undergraduates. Additional training includes master classes in San Servolo, Italy with glass artist Rudy Gritch and at Northlands Glass Centre, with master blower Dante Marioni and Simon Moore.
