Malcolm attended Edinburgh College of Art in the late 1970s but moved to London to take up a career in the music business as a producer and musician. 

Now resident in Pittenweem he is once again engaged full time in creating art. Producing mostly prints, all framed at affordable prices, his work is very accessible featuring the landscape of the East Neuk. 

His style is reminiscent of the Scottish colourists with strong colours and bold shapes. He also does some larger, more abstract, paintings as well as multimedia works featuring his music.
