I am a Zimbabwe born abstract expressionist artist, living, and creating in the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland.

Umlungu was the endearing nickname given to me during my many years working in South Africa. I am inspired by the beauty of Africa and Scotland, music, the sea, and life events. Colour is a very powerful feature of my work. 

My work hangs in homes throughout Scotland, England, Wales, Belgium, Finland, France, Switzerland, Puerto Rico, Australia, South Africa, the Caribbean, and the USA to name a few. 

2024 will be my third Pittenweem Arts Festival. It is a magical event for artists and visitors alike and I cannot wait to welcome everyone back to my fantastic venue.
