As a landscape artist, I paint as I see it: sometimes it’s a realistic image, sometimes it’s more abstract.

The more you walk, the more you see and experience. And in my paintings, I try to reflect the magic of the outdoors: its hills and mountains, coasts and seas, woodland and rolling country. 

Among my favourite areas are East Lothian, the East Neuk of Fife, the Cairngorms, Harris and the West Highlands and islands. The heat of Majorca and the winter cold of the Alps are other inspirations. Walking, seeing and painting. That’s me.
