Madeleine Hand - I graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1981 where I specialised in Illustration.

I have been living and working in Dunkeld since the early 80's. I have been involved with a Community Growing project in Dunkeld and this has provided me with a lot of inspiration. Lots of holidays have been spent in the East Neuk and Harbour walls, coastal walks and the patterns in nature often feature in my work. 

Design elements are always of interest to me and I love inventing textile design and trying to capture movement and pattern in my figure and landscape compositions.
